North Wind is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineers to design, implement, test, and support electrical equipment and data acquisition systems for wind tunnel and hypersonic ground test projects. You will lead a team in developing custom equipment and upgrades for new facilities.

The role requires extensive design experience, leadership, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams. A hybrid work environment and flexible scheduling options are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical/electromechanical design.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring engineers.
• US Person status due to security requirements.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<15%).

Responsabilités

• Leadership - oversee a project within controls and electrical engineering; mentor engineers and interns.
• Design & Analysis - develop or iterate system designs, including data acquisition, control loops, and power distribution.
• Scope, Schedule, Budget - manage schedule and budget within scope; ensure alignment with requirements and quality standards.
• Document & Present - prepare calculation packages, procurement specs, reports, and manuals; lead design reviews.
• Support - coordinate with procurement/production/test; site surveys and commissioning.
• Quote - assist marketing with proposals, cost estimates, and options.
