North Wind is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, implement, test, and support electrical equipment and control systems used in wind tunnel and hypersonic ground tests. You will develop custom equipment and contribute to new tunnel facilities while upgrading existing capabilities.

The role requires strong design and analysis skills in power distribution, instrumentation, and documentation. Hybrid work with occasional travel to client sites and reviews is available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical circuits, electro-mechanical systems, or power distribution.
• US Person status is required due to security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze electrical subsystems for wind tunnel and hypersonic tests.
• Develop panel layouts, BOMs, and select components for reliability.
• Prepare design criteria, calculation packages, and technical reports.
• Lead internal and customer design reviews and provide design reviews at sites.
• Travel to customer and subcontractor sites for reviews, surveys, and commissioning.
