North Wind seeks a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer in Minnesota to design, implement, test, and support electrical equipment and data acquisition for wind tunnel and hypersonic tests.

The role emphasizes custom equipment development, system integration, and collaboration across disciplines. Hybrid work with occasional travel supports project delivery and innovation in hypersonic programs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of practical work experience in controls, electronics, data acquisition systems or similar role.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to above.
• US Person status required due to ITAR requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze control systems, data acquisition, and instrumentation for wind tunnel and hypersonic tests.
• Plan tasks within schedule and budget, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Document design criteria, calculations, procurement specs, and reports; lead design reviews.
• Support procurement, production, and installation teams and travel for reviews and commissioning.
• Assist marketing with proposals, including concepts, estimates, and recommendations.
