Job summary

Alera Group, a leading national insurance and financial services firm, is seeking a Commercial Lines Support Leader in Wisconsin. You will oversee a team of customer service agents and drive administrative and operational work that supports revenue growth, productivity, and client retention.

Responsibilities include leading people, processes, and systems for commercial lines client service, coaching staff, improving workflows, and ensuring compliance with systems like Applied Epic and carrier

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Commercial insurance experience required.
• Active state Property & Casualty license required.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of agency operations and client service processes.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Applied Epic and agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the people, processes, and systems that support commercial lines client service operations while promoting productivity, service quality, client retention, and team engagement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through onboarding, training, performance management, goal setting, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, workflow enhancements, and operational best practices that improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Oversee departmental systems, procedures, audits, Applied Epic administration, carrier website utilization, and service center relationships to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
• Partner with agents, service teams, carriers, and leadership to support client retention, resolve service concerns, strengthen team performance, and achieve departmental goals.
