Alera Group is seeking a Claims & Risk Management Support Leader in Wisconsin to oversee client services, claims processing, and risk management operations. The role involves supervising two specialists and coordinating with carriers and clients to ensure service excellence.

Responsibilities include leading team efforts, enhancing workflows, and driving proactive service initiatives while supporting hiring, coaching, and development across the department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2+ years of insurance, risk management, customer service, operations, or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology, coverages, policy forms, and client service practices.
• State-specific insurance license or ability to obtain and maintain required licensure.

Responsabilités

• Serve as advocate and liaison to clients, carriers, and internal customers.
• Coordinate with clients to assist with coverage issues.
• Lead and streamline claims, risk management, and client resource support operations.
• Supervise and mentor team members; promote collaboration and growth.
• Drive proactive service initiatives that strengthen client relationships.
• Improve workflows and operational efficiency with internal stakeholders.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop coaching plans.
• Lead team meetings; set goals and action plans.
• Monitor procedures and implement process improvements as needed.
