Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Civil Engineer III to join our Tempe, AZ team. You will develop complex civil designs for land development, lead project teams, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and sub-consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include zoning interpretation, design direction, reports, and coordinating permits. A PE license is preferred and 5+ years of experience is expected. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required at time of hire.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in land development.
• Experience with drainage design and BMPs is preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil3D and reading construction plans.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and related Civil Engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Review zoning regulations for municipalities and lead technical direction on complex projects.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on land development issues.
• Develop civil design concepts and prepare reports, plans, and specifications.
• Lead project phases, manage multiple tasks, and ensure quality checks.
