Job summary

El Paso County’s Department of Human Services is seeking a Lead Case Manager-Workforce Development to join the Adult, Family, and Economic Services (AFES) Division in Colorado Springs. You will lead case management focused on employment, upskilling, and self-sufficiency, while shaping processes and coordinating with partners.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with an anticipated schedule of Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Four years of customer service or administrative experience.
• Two years of case management or related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a lead to staff, including training, providing guidance and mentoring, and resolving complex problems and issues.
• Interprets and communicates program regulations, policies, and procedures; assists staff with complex cases.
• Collects and reviews data related to department programs and service delivery outcomes.
• Leads and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Performs other duties as required.
