Honeywell Technologies in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Engineer II to develop, test, and integrate AI/ML capabilities into software applications. You will collaborate with AI and software engineers to build reliable, scalable AI-powered solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this hybrid role requires hands-on work with LLMs, prompts, pipelines, and production-quality Python software, with onsite work required for the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on AI/ML software engineering in production environments.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
• 2+ years of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• 2+ years programming with Python and production-quality software.
• 3+ years software engineering with Python and at least one language like C++ or Java.

Responsabilités

• Build applications and software components using LLMs and Generative AI.
• Develop and optimize prompt workflows, pipelines, embeddings, and vector search.
• Develop Python-based AI/ML applications, APIs, services, and supporting software.
• Integrate AI models with existing software applications.
• Assist with model evaluation, testing, and performance optimization.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutions.
