Job summary

Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a Lateral Recruiting Coordinator to manage end-to-end recruitment for lateral attorneys, partners, and select staff across offices. You will source, screen, and coordinate interviews, while collaborating with search firms, practice groups, and HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

The role requires 2+ years of recruiting experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365; familiarity with legal recruiting platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of directly-related experience/education required.
• Two (2) years of recruiting experience required. Experience within a law firm, law school, legal services industry, or professional services industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and other AI platforms preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the firm, including practice group leadership.
• Independent, flexible thinker able to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and adapt quickly to urgent, time-sensitive requests.
• Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Experience coordinating programs across multiple office locations preferred.
• Preferred experience with recruiting platforms such as FloRecruit, viRecruit, viDesktop, and UKG; adaptable to learn other databases, with the ability to incorporate AI tools as appropriate to support lateral recruiting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage candidate sourcing and evaluation for lateral attorneys, partners, and select staff.
• Coordinate end-to-end interview processes and schedules with practice groups.
• Support integration of lateral hires into practice groups and onboarding logistics.
• Maintain recruitment data and assist with reports, correspondence, and schedules.
• Facilitate travel and hotel arrangements for local and out-of-state candidates.
• Draft and send offer letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm processes.
• Collaborate with HR and office management across offices and participate in recruiting committees.
