Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Labor Relations Manager (Attorney preferred) to lead labor relations initiatives, craft union agreements, and manage negotiations in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, be licensed to practice law in the state, 5+ years in labor relations (Accounting + Finance industry), and strong negotiation and communications skills to guide HR and management through labor issues and grievance resolution.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• 5+ years of labor relations experience, preferably in Accounting + Finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of labor relations within the organization.
• Develop, implement, and manage company policies and procedures related to labor relations.
• Create and craft agreements, negotiate union contracts, and strategize negotiation tactics.
• Provide overall union contract administration, including language interpretation and guidance on labor issues.
• Oversee the grievance process, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Collaborate closely with human resources and management teams to ensure alignment with company policies and labor laws.
• Advise management on labor law regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representatives and employees.
