Job summary

JCDecaux North America seeks a Labor & Employee Relations Specialist to support our unionized workforce and field operations. This is the primary on-site HR representative at the Maspeth warehouse two days per week, with one day at the Empire State Building and two days remote.

This role focuses on labor relations, employee relations, and health & safety in a fast-paced operations environment, partnering with EHS and Operations leadership to implement compliant HR programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Labor and Industrial Relations, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2–4 years of HR experience with focus on employee and labor relations and CBAs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site HR representative at the Maspeth warehouse 2 days per week.
• Assist managers with performance documentation and corrective actions per policies and CBAs.
• Coordinate FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other leaves for union employees.
• Support onboarding and ensure timely completion of employment and union-related documentation.
• Investigate complaints and ensure impartial reviews in line with policies.
