Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an Employee & Labor Relations Consultant to support management and staff on employment and labor relations matters in a hybrid, full-time role based in South Jersey. You will guide policy interpretation, investigate employee concerns, and facilitate grievance processes while advising on contract provisions and labor relations strategy.

The position requires three years of HR experience with a focus on employee and labor relations, a Bachelor’s degree, and preferable HR

Qualifications

• Minimum three years HR experience with focus on employee and labor relations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; HR/labor relations focus preferred.
• SPHR/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to management on policies and contract interpretations.
• Investigate employee relations issues and assist with resolutions.
• Facilitate grievance processes and arbitration as needed.
• Educate managers on policies, laws, and regulations.
• Support contract negotiations and labor-management relations.
• Develop and deliver labor relations trainings and programs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with unions and stakeholders.
