Latham & Watkins seeks an Associate Director of Knowledge Management to lead KM strategy and a team of KM Counsel and KM Lawyers across Banking & Private Credit, Private Equity Finance, Restructuring, and Structured Finance. The role reports to Global KM leadership and collaborates with Practice Group Chairs in a hybrid model across multiple offices.

You will drive engagement with practicing lawyers, supervise the KM team, and allocate workflow while developing the KM strategy and resources for

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent and bar admission to practice in the US.
• Minimum ten years in legal or professional services management.
• Extensive experience leading knowledge management in a large firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop KM colleagues within the Practice Group.
• Oversee KM strategy, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Distill deal/matter data to create market insights.
• Monitor legal and market trends for leadership communications.
• Collaborate with Technology & Information Services on AI workflows.
• Protect highly sensitive and proprietary information.
