Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level Program Cost Controls Analyst to join our C3S2 team. This hybrid role supports the Financial Management function for defense programs, with emphasis on forecasts, AOP, and EAC updates.

The role offers development in program finance, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with management, engineering, and supply chain, located near McKinney, TX or other US sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or related field.
• Less than 2 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience with financial reporting, data analysis, forecasting and process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting or data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Support development of weekly and monthly sales forecasts aligned to program objectives.
• Assist in Annual Operating Plan creation and data consolidation.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analyses.
• Contribute to EAC development and updates with current program status and risks.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain for accurate tracking.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for program reviews and leadership requests.
• Support forecasting process improvements and data accuracy.
