Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX is seeking an entry-level Program Cost Controls Analyst (P1) to join the Product Support SSBU within Land and Air Defense Systems. You will support weekly, monthly forecasts, EAC updates, and financial analysis in a collaborative program finance team supporting high-visibility defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• Experience with financial reporting, data analysis, forecasting and/or process improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and data visualization).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of weekly and monthly sales forecasts aligned with program financial objectives.
• Assist in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation and updates, including data consolidation and reporting.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analysis to identify drivers.
• Contribute to annual Estimate at Completion (EAC) development and updates.
• Analyze program financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial tracking and execution.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for program reviews and leadership requests.
• Support continuous improvement by enhancing forecasting processes and data accuracy.
