Raytheon, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking an entry level Program Cost Controls Analyst (P1) to support our C3S2 business area in a hybrid role. The preferred candidate can be located near McKinney, TX, with other acceptable locations including Andover, MA, Forest, MS, or Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline.
• Less than 2 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience with financial reporting, data analysis, forecasting and/or process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and data visualization).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to government systems.

Responsibilities

• Support development of weekly and monthly sales forecasts aligned with program objectives.
• Assist in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation and updates, including data consolidation, analysis, and reporting.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analyses identifying cost drivers.
• Contribute to annual Estimate at Completion (EAC) development and updates, ensuring forecasts reflect status and risks.
• Analyze program financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; communicate insights to program leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain) to support accurate financial tracking and execution.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for program reviews and leadership requests.
• Support forecasting process improvements and data accuracy.
