University of Pennsylvania is seeking an IT Support Specialist, Wellness Support to provide high-quality IT help for Penn Wellness and the broader Penn community. The role requires support during Saturday hours and on-site presence in a fast-paced clinical/administrative setting.

You will maintain endpoint management, document procedures, and stay current with emerging technologies while collaborating with HireIT and Wellness teams to ensure reliable computing resources.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support for macOS and Windows in academic or professional services environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take initiative in resolving technical issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience imaging, deploying, and supporting end-user systems in a highly managed IT environment.
• Experience supporting virtual desktop infrastructure and related technologies, such as Azure Virtual Desktop, IGEL, and Imprivata.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide support coverage and endpoint management for Saturday hours as part of a hybrid team.
• Work a hybrid schedule on an alternate Tuesday-through-Saturday schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Review and interpret technical documentation to understand Penn’s computing environment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation on changes, concepts, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in University-wide project teams and user group meetings to drive improvements.
