Job summary

Greater Hartford Gives Foundation is seeking an IT Administrator who enjoys helping people and providing outstanding support. You’ll lead help desk, manage devices, and coordinate with an external IT partner while shaping policy and governance.

This hybrid role requires in-office days in Hartford, CT, with remote work up to two days weekly. Degree or equivalent experience, plus seven years in IT support, are required, along with hands-on experience in Windows, Mac, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in Information Technology support role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Windows and Mac devices and cross‑platform support.
• Exposure to IT governance, policy development, and cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external managed IT services partner to deploy new technology solutions.
• Lead regular system maintenance, monitoring, and long‑term IT infrastructure planning.
• Lead major technology projects including planning, execution, and training.
• Manage and support Windows and Mac devices in a mixed environment.
