Job summary

Vivid Impact, located in Jeffersontown, KY, is seeking a capable IT Administrator to partner with the Director of Technology and oversee the organization’s technology needs. The role focuses on implementing, supporting, and aligning IT with business goals.

The position requires expertise across Windows, Mac, and Linux, Active Directory, and VMware virtualization, with a 60k–80k/year pay range and a hybrid, exempt, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competent in troubleshooting and repairing computers and printers.
• Experienced with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Skilled in Active Directory management and storage configuration and monitoring.
• Proficient with automation tools and scripting to streamline operations.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with team members and other departments.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi and vSphere, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems.
• Provide prompt technical support to company team members.
• Setup and manage technology requirements for company events.
• Participate in managing servers, security solutions, and network hardware.
• Assist with data backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.
• Support during system upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Technology.
