Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for a hybrid, mid-sized environment. You will blend network administration, end-user support, and systems analysis to directly influence IT outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Windows Server, AD, AWS, and 365, plus VLANs, VPNs, and endpoint management. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 5–7 years in IT-related roles.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of combined IT support, network administration, and/or systems analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VoIP systems, AWS architecture, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, VPCs, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure knowledge.
• Endpoint management tools such as Intune, Jamf, or similar.

Responsibilities

• 35% Network Administration: maintain/analyze LAN/WAN, active directory, DNS/DHCP, VPN, security framing, backups, SOPs.
• 35% Technical Support & Helpdesk: remote/in-person support, ticket triage, imaging/deploying desks/devices, onboarding/offboarding.
• 30% Systems Analysis: evaluate systems/workflows, gather requirements, recommend software/integrations, IT roadmap planning.
