Job summary

Fishbeck seeks an IT Support and Network Administrator in Grand Rapids, MI for a hybrid role balancing Help Desk and Network tasks. You’ll support end users, manage Active Directory, and help secure and optimize our Microsoft-based environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT support, a IT degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on Windows 11 deployment and AD/M365 expertise. Join a collaborative, employee-owned firm with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Three+ years IT support or systems/network administration experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or related experience.
• Hands-on with Windows 11, imaging, deployment, and end-user troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of AD, M365, Entra ID, Exchange Online.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, professional, customer-focused IT support to employees.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and support Windows 11 workstations per security standards.
• Install and troubleshoot Microsoft apps and business software.
• Manage user accounts and permissions across AD, Entra ID, M365, Exchange Online, Egnyte.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, and lifecycle activities.
• Administer and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks and remote access.
• Support network security controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Investigate escalated issues and coordinate with IT teams and vendors.
• Create and maintain technical docs and knowledge resources.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and strengthen security.
