Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Technology Support Analyst to provide Tier 1 IT support for faculty, staff, and students. You will handle issues across Lenovo/Mac hardware, Windows/Mac OS, M365, VPN, DUO, MFA, and email clients, via multiple channels.

This role may offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a typical 40-hour work week and a 8am-5pm schedule. Bring strong problem-solving and customer-service skills to UNC’s dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in IT or related field with 1 year IT experience; or
• Bachelor’s degree with related IT experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, web, email, chat, and walk-up.
• Diagnose and resolve intermediate customer IT issues across hardware and software.
