Job summary

Trafera in Arden Hills, MN, is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead internal IT services across locations. This hands-on leadership role sets technical standards for end-user devices, Identity and Microsoft 365, and oversees complex support issues while growing the team.

You will drive service delivery, enforce policies, mentor staff, manage vendors and budgets, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve operations. Hybrid work arrangement with onsite and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in IT operations with 3+ years leading a team.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/identity (Entra ID, Intune).
• Knowledge of servers, LAN/WAN, firewalls/VPN, cloud.
• Practical cybersecurity experience: MFA, endpoint protection, backup/DR, audit remediation.
• Experience meeting SLAs and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Technical Services team and establish standards.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and complex escalations.
• Manage IT service management on FreshService and track metrics.
• Own end-user devices standards and Microsoft 365 services.
• Coordinate cybersecurity controls and remediation with audits.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.
