Job summary

Resonetics in Fridley, MN is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to manage and advance our Microsoft-based hybrid infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft infrastructure across multiple sites or business units.
• Experience leading small to mid-size infrastructure initiatives such as cloud migrations, endpoint management deployments, or M&A integrations.
• Proficiency with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, identity, and collaboration technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for diagnosing complex infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure, identity, collaboration, cloud, and telecommunications platforms.
• Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and endpoint management activities.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, system performance, and storage issues to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Administer and maintain virtualization, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), and storage environments.
• Lead small to mid-size infrastructure projects, including modernization, cloud migrations, and M&A integrations.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, patching, and configuration management tools.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure and identity-related incidents across multiple sites.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with Security and Operations teams to maintain secure and compliant IT/OT environments.
• Partner with other engineers and vendors during site integrations and migration planning.
• Develop accurate technical documentation and SOPs for operational continuity.
• Ensure knowledge sharing and documentation standards across global IT operations.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
