Job summary

The Mission Essential Group seeks a Technology Operations Specialist in New Albany, OH. This hybrid role supports end-user devices, cloud services, and enterprise systems within a small IT team.

You will manage M365, Azure, Intune, and security operations while ensuring high availability and strong customer service. Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years in IT support, proficiency with Windows and cloud platforms, and a working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of enterprise IT support, systems administration, cloud administration or cybersecurity experience
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience supporting Azure environments
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management technologies
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server platforms
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN, and wireless
• Experience with SIEM, MDR, EDR, incident response, and cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–3 end-user support for employees on-site and remotely
• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise IT systems and devices
• Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID
• Support Azure and GCC High environments and cloud-based apps
• Monitor and improve platform health; document procedures
• Assist with security monitoring, incident response, and compliance activities
• Collaborate with IT team and vendors to meet operational needs
• Maintain inventories and technical records
