Job summary

HMSA seeks an IT professional to join the Network Team on Oahu in a hybrid setup. The role maintains HMSA's network infrastructure, performs upgrades, and supports security and availability across locations with on-call responsibilities.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent, and at least one year of IT experience. Strong knowledge of Cisco/Aruba gear, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum one year of IT work experience.
• Ability to learn multiple technologies including Cisco/Aruba devices, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and data center infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Substitutions such as higher degrees or certifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to HMSA's network infrastructure and ensure reliability.
• Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure and configurations.
• Update configuration management tools and document procedures.
• Operate network monitoring tools and analyze capacity and growth.
• Perform packet captures and ensure system security per audit procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams; participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
