Job summary

Coder is seeking an experienced IT Generalist to join our growing team. You’ll be the go-to person for user support, SaaS administration, and IT infrastructure, helping keep our San Francisco office and remote teammates productive and secure.

In this full-time, hybrid role, you’ll onboard new hires, manage devices and licenses, and support SOC 2 compliance while collaborating with a larger IT team to improve tooling and workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or systems administration.
• Proficient with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Apple device management (Jamf preferred).
• Comfortable working remotely and prioritizing multiple IT tasks.
• Security-first mindset with access controls and audit trails.
• Enjoy solving end-user technology problems and improving experiences.
• Interest in SOC 2 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for employees via Slack and ticketing system.
• Onboard/offboard users, provisioning through Okta and license management.
• Administer core tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, 1Password, and other SaaS apps.
• Manage macOS hardware inventory from procurement to asset tracking.
• Support SOC 2 and GDPR compliance processes.
• Identify gaps and streamline support workflows as IT scales.
• Document processes for internal knowledge bases.
