Job summary

Via Licensing Alliance in Denver is seeking a hands‑on Head of IT to set and execute technology strategy, lead the technical organization across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations, and partner with business leaders to translate needs into secure, scalable solutions. The role requires deep technical judgment and the ability to mentor top engineering teams.

The hybrid position works onsite in the Denver/Greenwood Village office three days per week (Tue–Thu) and oversees

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience across software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations.
• 10+ years of people leadership building high‑performing technical teams.
• Strong hands‑on credibility with modern software development, cloud, DevOps, and secure systems delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise technology strategy, architecture roadmap, and operating model across software engineering, cloud, data, and IT operations.
• Provide technical and people leadership for the IT organization including contractors and external partners.
• Lead modernization, maintenance, and support of enterprise platforms to be scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
