Job summary

Via Licensing Alliance, a subsidiary of Dolby Laboratories, is hiring a Head of IT in a hybrid Denver, CO setting. You will define the technology strategy, lead software engineering, cloud infrastructure, IT operations, and enterprise platforms, while mentoring high-performing teams.

The role requires deep hands-on credibility with modern software practices, architecture, security, and cross‑functional collaboration with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years of technology leadership in complex environments.
• 10+ years of people leadership and building high-performing teams.
• Strong judgment across modern software development, cloud, and security.
• Experience with Microsoft technology ecosystem and enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Via’s enterprise technology strategy, architecture roadmap, and operating model across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, integrations, IT operations, and end‑user technology.
• Provide technical, operational, and people leadership for the IT organization.
• Lead modernization and support of Via’s enterprise technology platforms.
• Establish architecture practices across applications, data, security, and cloud.
• Drive SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, and production readiness.
• Oversee modernization and maintenance of key platforms and tools (PortLA, WebLA, QlikView, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, .NET).
• Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies with clear business value.
