Salal Credit Union is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to keep our technology environment reliable, secure, and ready to support employees and members daily. This hands-on role covers on-premises and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on network and systems administration in a hybrid work setting at our Northgate headquarters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network and/or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with networking, Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments, patch management, system maintenance, and hardware support.
• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless.
• Monitor system and network performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Assist with infrastructure deployments, upgrades, hardware installations, migrations, and technology lifecycle projects.
• Support security tools and controls including firewalls, VPN, content filtering, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
• Resolve infrastructure-related tickets in partnership with the Service Desk, IT teammates, business partners, and vendors.
• Administer and support on-premise and cloud server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with virtual and cloud infrastructure maintenance including backups, recovery, system updates, and operational improvements.
• Support technology projects throughout the organization, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, procedures, and system configuration following change management procedures.
