Job summary

SolomonEdwards is seeking a Network Systems Infrastructure Engineer to build, run, and scale core computer and network systems in a fast-paced environment. You will manage local data centers, cloud connections, and multi-site routing to keep the company online and secure.

You will bridge hardware and cloud architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate daily tasks, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems administration.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server, plus VMWare/Hyper-V.
• Hands-on AWS/Azure/GCP IaaS deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, hypervisors, and related software.
• Maintain hybrid connections and cloud storage in AWS or Azure.
• Monitor network traffic, patch systems, and enforce security rules.
• Provide tier-three escalation support for complex issues.
• Plan hardware health and network upgrades.
