Job summary

Ignite Medical Resorts is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer/Field Administrator to support a growing, multi-state healthcare network of 32+ locations. The role blends remote infrastructure support with select onsite field administration and requires coordination with vendors and internal teams.

The position emphasizes smart-hands execution, on-call responsibilities, and maintaining Ignite’s in-house IT controls as the organization expands. Travel across states may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience in a multi-site/distributed environment.
• Strong hands-on networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), ISP troubleshooting, end-user hardware, cameras, and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary escalation point for complex infrastructure issues before field dispatch.
• Perform advanced remote diagnostics and root-cause analysis for resolution path.
• Coordinate with ISPs, carriers, and vendors to ensure SLA adherence and efficient resolution.
• Provide technical oversight to Field Administrators and smart-hands resources.
• Support M&A and new-facility readiness by validating infrastructure standards ahead of go-live.
• Maintenance of infrastructure updates, patches, and fixes.
• Reduce escalations to CTO by resolving Tier 2.5 issues independently.
• Participate in on-call IT rotation.
• Onsite field support for critical outages, installations, and expansions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, end-user devices, CCTV, and access control; document post-visit diagrams and standards.
