Job summary

PLUS Communications is seeking an IT & Business Operations Specialist to join the Operations team. You will manage and optimize IT infrastructure, oversee technical support, systems administration, and business operations initiatives to improve efficiency and security.

The role includes IT orientation, end-user asset management, AV setup for meetings, and collaboration with leadership on technology projects. 40-hour weeks, hybrid in-office/remote, with a year-end bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of help desk experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related tools).
• Experience with service ticket management systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar).
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• High level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming IT requests and IT support issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and access to relevant business applications.
• Lead IT orientation sessions for new employees and oversee the offboarding process for end-user assets and accounts.
• Set up and support AV systems in conference rooms, including for client-level meetings.
• Support special projects related to hardware and software enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Act as the primary internal contact between PLUS and parent company IT team to address user needs and maintain IT compliance standards.
• Provide ad hoc operational support across the organization as needed.
