Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the OCIO NNSA initiatives. The role analyzes, plans, and develops solutions to improve business processes and align with technology strategies within the IT Solutions Division.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with some work-from-home days, opportunities to mentor colleagues, and the chance to influence mission-critical programs while collaborating on data analytics, reporting, and system

Qualifications

• U.S. DOE Q-level clearance required; U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a business operations role with emphasis on process optimization (ServiceNow preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of process notation/documentation (BPMN).
• Advanced data analysis using SQL and data visualization tools to query data and produce reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze business/technical processes and propose future-state solutions.
• Develop strategies to address process gaps across functions; liaise between project and technical staff.
• Provide in-depth consultation to client and technical staff to improve processes; create end-to-end process maps.
• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to influence outcomes and meet goals.
• Prepare customized data reports and data visualizations to support decision making.
• Train and mentor others on technical skills as needed.
