Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to bridge software development and project research teams in Bethesda. You will identify stakeholder needs, analyze requirements, and deliver solutions to support healthcare, education, and policy outcomes.

This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement at our Bethesda headquarters, with two days on site per week. You will collaborate across IT, project management, and research teams to drive successful system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong experience in business analysis.
Proven track record in leading requirements gathering and documenting processes.
Experience applying QA methodologies with detailed test plans and results.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct detailed analysis of processes, workflows, and systems to identify improvements.
Develop and maintain requirement documentation including use cases and process flows.
Work with IT teams to align technical solutions with project goals and requirements.
Assist in design, testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements.
