Job summary

STI is seeking an IT Asset & Inventory Data Specialist to manage asset data in Asset Cloud, including complex multi-quantity entries and WFH asset tracking. The role supports 500+ municipalities and involves data migration, reconciliation, and process improvement.

You will enter data, perform audits, and collaborate with Central Office and county teams to ensure accurate asset records and smooth asset-tracking operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with inventory- or asset-tracking systems in IT or data management.
• Hands-on data entry, extraction, and reconciliation using cloud platforms; Asset Cloud experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data manipulation, import/export, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Forms for data collection from stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, validation, and audits.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and document processes.
• Excellent communication for collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience reconciling inventory reports and managing multiple data sources.
• Discretion handling confidential asset and personnel information.

Responsibilities

• Enter asset data into the Asset Cloud system, including complex multi-quantity entries with validation.
• Mark and manage WFH assets in Asset Cloud, ensuring accurate categorization and tracking.
• Develop a simplified process for tracking WFH assets to improve efficiency and auditing.
• Conduct scanning and auditing of NJ Courts assets in Asset Cloud during year-end inventory.
• Extract and upload asset, employee, vendor, and manufacturer data using Excel and tools.
• Use Microsoft Forms to gather asset information from 500+ municipalities and integrate it into Asset Cloud.
• Reconcile inventory reports by comparing system data with physical counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date asset records, including employees, vendors, and manufacturers in Asset Cloud.
• Provide support/training to Central Office and 21 counties on Asset Cloud usage and data entry.
• Collaborate with management to gather information and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.
• Document processes and share best practices for future system use.
• Provide ongoing staff training on Asset Cloud data entry and reporting procedures.
