Job summary

The State of Connecticut—DAS, BITS Agency Success—seeks two Information Technology Analyst 1 professionals to support Connecticut Veterans Affairs and the Connecticut State Library. The roles involve maintaining core systems, developing applications, and contributing to modernization efforts in a hybrid environment with telework options.

Candidates should have five years’ IT operations experience and a degree in MIS/CS or equivalent substitutions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of IT operations support experience.
• Knowledge of IT fundamentals and support tools.
• Ability to document processes and support procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, secure, and support core systems and applications.
• Develop, customize, and maintain applications to improve operations.
• Support modernization including cloud-based tools and low-code platforms.
• Assist with project implementations and system migrations.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with technical teams.
