Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the Integrated Procure-to-Pay (IPPS) programs within RRSS. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, configuring systems like Oracle Cloud, and coordinating with campus clients and SaaS vendors to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate with IT and business users to design better processes, troubleshoot integrations, and manage changes. A hybrid schedule is expected with 2–3 days onsite and a cover letter required for

Qualifications

Experience in supporting and troubleshooting system integration points between web applications and enterprise financial systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to convey technical info to diverse audiences.
Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to analyze information, problems, and data to draw objective conclusions.
Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.

Responsibilities

Assess opportunities to better utilize existing procure-to-pay technology and recommend improvements.
Design and improve business processes; manage system configuration and maintain integrations.
Serve as liaison between business owners, campus clients, IT, and SaaS providers; coordinate with IT partners to resolve issues.
Support IPPS business owners and campus clients to enhance efficiency of supply chain processes.
