Job summary

Ampcus, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking an IT Research Business Systems Analyst to provide functional support for Research Administration Systems (RAS), Accounts Receivable, and related integrations.

The role serves as a bridge between end users and technical development resources and requires advanced knowledge of functional and technical system support, including requirements gathering, analysis, data, documentation, design, programming, testing, implementation, and system maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in functional/technical support for enterprise software.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Grants, Contracts, Projects, Billing, AR.
• Oracle Cloud Grants/Projects/AR implementation experience.
• Strong SQL and data extraction skills.
• Ability to gather, translate, and present requirements to technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and triage complex system problems.
• Gather and document operational requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for developers.
• Lead SDLC activities including design, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with in-house and third-party teams on implementations.
• Develop training materials and support change management.
• Ensure system integrity during upgrades and through testing.
