Accounting Search presents an opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join a premier life sciences Intellectual Property Litigation practice in Boston on a hybrid schedule, collaborating with leading trial and patent litigators on high-stakes disputes.

The role emphasizes handling complex patent litigation, depositions, motions, and discovery, with significant courtroom exposure and strategic litigation experience in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction in good standing.
• Strong background in intellectual property disputes, particularly patent litigation.
• Proven ability to take and defend depositions and manage motion practice.
• Proficiency drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Familiarity with ITC matters and Inter Partes Review (IPR) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated intellectual property and patent litigation matters.
• Conduct all phases of written discovery, fact development, and case strategy.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation‑related documents.
• Manage expert discovery and collaborate with technical and industry experts.
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and strategic litigation planning.
• Support clients in Inter Partes Review proceedings and other PTAB matters when applicable.
• Assist with ITC investigations and related proceedings as opportunities arise.
• Work closely with clients in technology-driven industries on complex and cutting‑edge legal disputes.
