United Future, a premier international law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Intellectual Property Litigation Group in a hybrid role. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge life sciences IP disputes, opportunities to work with leading trial lawyers, and significant courtroom experience.

The successful candidate will handle patent litigation, manage depositions, and draft pleadings while collaborating with technology-focused practitioners across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction in good standing.
• Strong background in intellectual property disputes, particularly patent litigation.
• Proven ability to take and defend depositions and manage motion practice.
• Skilled in written discovery, fact development, and expert discovery.
• Demonstrated proficiency drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in sophisticated intellectual property and patent litigation matters.
• Conduct all phases of written discovery, fact development, and case strategy.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents.
• Manage expert discovery and collaborate with technical and industry experts.
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and strategic litigation planning.
• Support clients in Inter Partes Review proceedings and other Patent Trial and Appeal Board matters when applicable.
• Assist with ITC investigations and related proceedings as opportunities arise.
