Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Investment Performance Analyst for a WealthTech client. The role is hybrid, based in Charlotte, NC, or Darien, CT, serving as a bridge between Investment Performance, Operations, Portfolio Management, and Technology teams.

You will bring deep expertise in performance measurement, validate complex calculations (IRR, TWR), and partner with software engineers to build scalable engines. CFA/IPMC preferred; 5+ years in asset management required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business/Data/Investment Performance analysis within asset management.
• Experience with leading institutional asset managers (Fidelity, BNY, Vanguard, BlackRock, et al.).
• Strong knowledge of performance measurement methodologies, including IRR, TWR, and reconciliation.
• Experience partnering with software engineers to build investment performance engines.
• CFA designation or IPMC certification preferred; familiarity with investment accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis tools, and Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define and implement requirements for investment performance platforms.
• Analyze and validate performance calculations and reconciliation outputs.
• Serve as SME on performance methodologies and calculation logic.
• Collaborate with developers/QA to troubleshoot discrepancies and data issues.
