Job summary

Securian Financial Group in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Internal Annuity Wholesaler to support the external sales team and grow annuity sales.

You will partner with the External Wholesaler, target opportunities with financial advisors, coordinate campaigns, and track activity in Salesforce CRM. Licenses (FINRA 6/63 and Life/Health) or ability to obtain them within 6 months are required.

Hybrid work with 3 days/week in the office; base pay $50k–$90k with a target total cash of $85k–$125k.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with a proactive mindset.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with moderate guidance.
• FINRA Series 6/63 and Life/Health licenses or the ability to obtain licenses within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Partner with an External Wholesaler to develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan.
• Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities through outbound and follow-up calls.
• Cultivate new annuity sales opportunities and deepen relationships with financial advisors on the focus list.
• Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives, call campaigns, and other sales activities to support territory growth.
• Leverage sales and marketing tools to increase annuity market share.
• Track and report activity metrics using Salesforce CRM.
• Provide responsive sales support and serve as a subject matter expert on annuity solutions.
