Job summary

HOK in New York, NY seeks an Interiors - Interior Design Professional with a basic but solid foundation in interior design. You will modify and prepare production drawings, update documents, and support project teams across design phases, while incorporating sustainable design principles.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design and 0–4 years’ experience, with LEED credential due within 12 months. A hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or foreign equivalent.
• 0 to 4 years’ experience; or equivalent in education and experience.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Modify and prepare production drawings during design development.
• Correct and update design documents.
• Develop solutions to technical/design problems following standards.
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Builds models for client/project team review.
• Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
• Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable practices.
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
