HOK, a leading design firm, seeks an interior design professional with a strong project focus to advance interior design concepts and deliverables. The role requires coordination with the project team, development of space plans, and sustainable design integration while maintaining client goals and budgets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or foreign equivalent.
• 6+ years' experience; or equivalent in education and experience.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the project or a phase of a project on schedule.
• Select and specify interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and artwork.
• Develop innovative design concepts that are practical, aesthetic, safe and within client goals and budget.
• Conduct space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting and color coordination.
• Coordinate color and material palettes.
• Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations.
• Prepare, correct and update documents during schematic design and design development phases.
• Solicit bids and assist PM and client with subcontracting fabrication, installation and furnishings.
• Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements.
• Implement and utilize HOK Standards for all projects and processes.
• May provide support to team members for specific field, style, or phase of interior design expertise.
• May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff and deliver staff evaluations.
• May participate in interviews and recruiting of professional staff.
• Foster a green workplace through sustainable work practices and a commitment to client service.
