Accounting Search in Miami, FL seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Insurance Coverage Practice Group. The role offers a hybrid work model with a leading international law firm behind it, handling complex coverage disputes for domestic and international insurers.

You will analyze policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide actionable recommendations while handling depositions, mediations, and trial prep.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience with a focus on insurance coverage matters
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Experience participating in litigation proceedings including depositions and mediations
• Familiarity with bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, E&O, and D&O
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Responsabilités

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
• Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives
