Job summary

HUB International in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an Account Manager to provide professional, courteous service to clients, producers and colleagues. You will oversee management of commercial accounts, support the Sales team, and coordinate with carriers and HUB colleagues to secure favorable coverage terms.

Required: 2 years in insurance, High School diploma (AA/college degree desirable), and a Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• 2 years in insurance company or agency preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree desirable
• Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred, or willing to obtained within 90 days of employment
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail
• Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently
• Hybrid work schedule; onsite at designated office location a minimum of three days per week

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of Property and Casualty insurance business.
• Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues, aiming for high account retention
• Supports Sales staff in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business
• May be responsible for account rounding and development of new business per policies
• Acts as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve service issues and negotiates terms
• Responsible for overall retention of accounts in assigned book
• Develops new business from existing accounts and assigned leads
• Produces binders, certificates, endorsements, and related items accurately
• Maintains controls on renewals and binders for timely processing
• Prepares summaries, schedules, and proposals for account reviews
