Job summary

Service First Federal Credit Union in Kentucky seeks an Instructional Designer to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions that support employee performance and exceptional member service. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, project teams, and business leaders to create engaging programs using adult learning principles and learning technologies.

This position supports onboarding, compliance training, organizational change, and continuous learning strategies

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in instructional design, learning and development.
• Experience designing eLearning content using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and update engaging learning solutions across eLearning courses, instructor-led training, virtual learning, blended programs, assessments, simulations, job aids, videos, and other materials.
• Partner with managers, project teams, and SMEs to identify learning needs and create training solutions aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person training programs and onboarding sessions using established curricula.
• Manage instructional design projects from inception to delivery, including planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
• Administer and maintain LMS tasks including course assignments, enrollments, learning paths, reporting, and learner tracking.
• Travel to branch locations to identify training opportunities and support effectiveness of training across facilities.
• Support organizational change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning.
