Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Learning and Development Instructional Designer to drive modern learning solutions, from content development to AI-driven process improvements. You will collaborate with SMEs, manage LMS content, and pilot programs with the Organizational Development team.

The role requires hands-on experience with AI tools, video production, and Articulate 360, plus a strong foundation in ADDIE/SAM and adult learning theories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Education, or an equivalent combination of education, professional certifications, and practical work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Create learner-centric curriculum designs and instructional materials (e-learning modules, job aids, SOPs) aligned with goals.
• Develop learning performance, engagement, and impact metrics and use insights to improve programs.
• Research and evaluate AI-driven tools to accelerate development and scale capabilities.
• Lead training needs assessments and translate priorities into learning objectives.
• Pilot programs with Organizational Development to ensure effective delivery and content accuracy.
