Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking an Instructional Designer (HR/Learning & Development) in North Kingstown, RI. Hybrid full-time role focusing on designing modern learning solutions, AI-enabled content production, and collaboration with SMEs to deliver scalable training across the organization.

You will manage end-to-end instructional design, develop e-learning modules, job aids, and SOPs, and drive continuous improvement through analytics and piloting with the Organizational Development team.

Qualifications

• Experience using an LMS platform.
• Experience with video generation and editing tools (AI-assisted scripting, voice, and visual production).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and applications (content generation).
• 2+ years of experience writing and designing learning and development curricula in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive learner-centric curriculum designs and develop instructional materials (e-learning modules, job aids, SOPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform materials into polished learning assets.
• Develop learning metrics and use insights to improve content and delivery.
• Pilot and validate content with Organizational Development to ensure effectiveness.
